If your PMDG 737’s CDU content cannot be displayed on SimFlyPad, you can troubleshoot by following these steps:
- Exit the MSFS game.
- Open SimFly Linker, go to the Cockpit Controls page, ensure you clicked “Apply” in the PMDG B737 panel, and that your owned PMDG models are correctly displayed in the list below with their icons shown in green.
- Re-enter MSFS, and you should now be able to see the CDU screen normally.
My PMDG aircraft does not show on the SimFlyLinker’s Cockpit Controls Page
If the corresponding model is not found on the Cockpit Controls page, it means SimFly Linker was unable to automatically locate the PMDG 737 configuration file. Please try the following steps:
- Ensure that you have loaded the PMDG 737 model at least once and that the engines have been started.
- Exit MSFS.
- Try to locate the 737_Options.ini file and modify it with the following method.
Locate the 737_Options.ini file
Navigate to the following directory:
- For Store Version
- For Stream Version
- Global Search
%LOCALAPPDATA%\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\packages\pmdg-aircraft-737\work
%APPDATA%\Microsoft Flight Simulator\Packages\pmdg-aircraft-737\work
If you failed to find the 737_Options.ini file with the previous method, you could try initial a global search for the “737_Options.ini” file.
Modify the 737_Options.ini file to enable data & CDU broadcast
Open the 737_Options.ini file, and add the following content under the [SDK] section. If there is no [SDK] section, you can manually add the following part containing [SDK] at the end of the file. Note, regardless of where you add it, ensure there is a blank line before and after the addition.
[SDK]
EnableDataBroadcast=1
EnableCDUBroadcast.0=1
